The hollow beneath your eyes can add years to how others read your face. Dr. Parizh and his team provide both surgical and non-surgical solutions to restore balance and brightness to the under-eye area.
What Is Tear Trough Deformity?
The tear trough is a groove running from the inner corner of the eye toward the upper cheek. When volume diminishes or the midface descends, a hollow forms beneath the lower eyelid that casts a shadow. This can read as chronic fatigue, though it has nothing to do with how rested you actually feel. For some patients, genetics create the groove from a young age. For others, it develops gradually as facial structure shifts over time. Since causes vary, so do the most effective treatments.
